practice with me

I have undergone hundreds of hours of teacher training with accredited programs as an Experienced Registered Yoga Teacher (E-RYT® 200) with Yoga Alliance. With more than 1,000 hours of professional teaching experience, I have earned a higher level of certification by regularly teaching public, private, and corporate yoga classes.

My primary teacher and mentor is internationally acclaimed instructor and author, Laura Burkhart. I am completing the next 300 hours of yoga teacher certification with Janet Stone at Stone Yoga School.

Through my teachers, I have learned how to sequence yoga poses to maximize the body’s mobility intelligently, how to guide students into safe body alignment, and how to energetically sync breath with movement using Vinyasa (flow).

My intention is to honor Indian tradition while taking into account the latest knowledge of human anatomy. I incorporate mindfulness and contemplative practices, such as Vipassana meditation, breathwork, and yoga philosophy, into my classes to cultivate inner peace.

I received my Level 1 certification to teach Restorative Yoga from its Founder, Judith Hanson Lasater, Ph.D. P.T., who studied with the late guru, B.K.S. Iyengar, author of “Light on Yoga,” often referred to as the “Bible of Modern Yoga.” I am expected to complete Level 2 with Judith in early 2026.

Currently, I am enrolled in the Mindfulness Meditation Teacher Certification Program accredited by UC Berkeley’s Greater Good Science Center, led by Jack Kornfield Ph.D and Tara Brach Ph.D.
